It's mid February, and this time last year we were up to our armpits in snow from the 'Beast from the East'. 

Ok, not famous, but we do have Timothy the dog, and there are five of us.

It is a rite of passage for every son and daughter of Lancashire to make the pilgrimage to the summit of Pendle Hill. If you've never done it, you are never truly Lancastrian, merely a visitor.

With that in mind, and with Pepi nearing her one score and fourth birthday, it was time for her to undertake the age old ritual.

Once upon a time there were seven little Rabbits, and their names were--Brendan, Babiche, Debbie, Pepi, Levi, Paul & Timmy...

Our return to Hebden Bridge is testament to the charms and allure of the area.

Well that was a surprise...

According to The Guardian, Hebden Bridge is "officially the quirkiest/kookiest/koolest/most LGBTQ-friendly/least chain-store-y etc small town in the universe", so I was expecting something a little mind-blowing if I'm honest.

Nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales on the banks of the River Wharfe, Bolton Abbey is regarded as Yorkshire's best day out - and judging by the number of people there that day, it is a sentiment shared by many!

Whilst the future might not quite be visible, nevertheless the views are spectacular.

In this endless summer of 2018, good fortune continued to smile on us...
