250g Self-raising Flour   *(200g self-raising flour)

125g Butter    *(100g butter)                    

Pinch of Salt & Pepper

Blend well with hands and add a splash of cold water to help bind the dough together. 

Method

Roll into balls. 

Place dumpling into warmed stew.  Make sure there is enough gravy to allow for the dumplings.

Place in hot oven 220 degrees with LID ON. 

Cook for 25 minutes then remove lid and switch oven to grill for 5 minutes to brown the tops of the dumplings.

Makes aprox. 8 Dumplings. *Makes 6 Dumplings
